Thanks to Cassie for this superb Christmas present. I have always wished for a Bond/Scooter meeting. I feared the closest I would ever get was the Bajaj chase scene in Octopussy:
But now at least I have this book. The superb pulpy cover art is perfect for a paperback. Even the back cover features the heroine in a get-away silhouette on her scooter. It’s been awhile since I’ve read it but I honestly don’t remember there being a Vespa in it. If there’s a fellow Swagger out there that knows better, let us know!
