From the delightful blog “Awful Library Books” comes this photo from the 1971 book “Police: Skill and Science Combat Crime” from Colby Publishing. I just have to say that if this guy had been at some of the bank holiday riots, the whole thing might have turned out much differently! Alas, this copper is prolly in New York or Detroit.
