Spotted this very cute fabric while browsing for something else. The world’s favorite cities and their sites are featured including the Eiffel Tower, the Coliseum, Big Ben, the Sydney Opera House, and the Golden Gate Bridge among others. Also featured are the means for travel like a car, helicopter, plane, bike, and yes a scooter. For scale purposes: The Eiffel Tower is about 2.5″ tall. Made by “Timeless Treasures” a half yard is priced at $10.25. And while you’re on the site, type in “scooter” in the search engine to see all of their other choices.

This is the first respectable looking site I’ve come across that features the pop can scooters. (And here’s some kismet – they’re located in Brighton!) They’re handmade out of recycled cans and have movable steering, rotating wheels and even a working kickstand. You can choose from Coke, Pepsi, Heineken, Tiger Beer, Schwepps Tonic or Schwepps Soda. They measure approximately 18cm x 11cm x 9cm or approximately 7″ X 4.3″ X 3.5″. They cost £9.95 each and come in a gift box made from 100% recycled materials. The site does note that these are not meant to be children’s toys.

The accessories maker “Fluff” has come up with some more accessories featuring their retro scooter girls. We featured their bags awhile back. Now you can tart up your iPhone 4/4s or iPhone 5 with these hard cases. Here’s a whole slew of scooter goodness for you from the online UK retailer “Not On The High Street.” They have a selective application process for sellers and want only the unique and well-made. They are especially interested in supporting small British businesses — both designers and manufacturers. And it’s easy ordering for us Yanks.

I especially like the scooter girl wallets/clutches and the two-wheel sprint scarf featuring both bicycles and Vespas.

We’ve featured some scootering chefs in the past but this is quite the bonanza.

The first three photos feature the chefs made by Benzara. They are made out of “polystone” and cost around $39.95 for the set. I wasn’t able to find the trio in a set but now you know what to look for.

The other chefs are made by Bon Appetit and are a bit trickier to find.

Speaking of tricks, I like to use Google Alerts as well as eBay Saved Searches to hunt down treasures.

Here’s a rather plump Easter bunny on an equally plump scooter that’s appeared on eBay. Alas, a fierce bidding war ensued and someone else won.

Needed: One jigsaw. One drill. One 1×10 @ piece of wood at 8 feet long and one 1/2″ dowel rod at 7″ long. And some time. But you too can make this baby sized scooter rocker. The plans and the patterns are all free and were created by Brooke at Killer B Designs.

Here’s a shiny silver scooter that shouldn’t ever give you problems. Unless you drop it on your foot. Measures approximately W 14 x D 27 x H 20 cm. It’s £29.90. Not bad for a bit of modern art.
