I know what you’re thinking. “That technically isn’t a scooter!” But check out that Vespa cowl!
And for your enjoyment I’m including a postcard from the 2008 Gasoline Rally in Indianapolis with more Space Scooter goodness.
About the art print:
It’s a limited edition giclee by Chris Reccardi. It measures 48 × 24 × 7/8″ and is $400 (not including shipping). It comes signed and is in a numbered edition of only 50.
Thanks to Tim for this find!

Aboot* a month ago we posted about a mystery clock that Cassie owns:
Glen B. in Ontario, Canada recognized his clock right off and was able to provide some more info on it. Cassie’s may be a Chinese knockoff of the Canadian company Mirage’s version which actually says “Made in Canada.” Anyhoo, the company also made some small stationery products with Series II Lambrettas on them. Glen says the designs are about 10 years old. Alas, the current Mirage site doesn’t show them for sale so this will be a lucky eBay find if you want one.
Thanks to Glen for the photos and info!
* Canadian pronunciation of “about.” And no, we Americans never tire making fun of their pronunciation of this word because we think it’s so cute. ; )

Not sure what real-life scooter this odd scooter clock is supposed to resemble but after looking through some of my books, it’s not much crazier looking that scores of scooters that made appearances at dealer scooter shows in the 50s. (Swoon! Imagine being able to go back in a time machine to one of those!)
This little time machine is $33 and measures 1.75″ tall.
(Thanks to Julie G. for this find!)

Awhile back we posted about this neat greeting card:
Then over Christmas, Swagerista Rickie S. presented me with the same design on a coffee mug that came in its own gift box! (Thanks Rickie!)
It turns out that “Curly Girl Designs” has really expanded their line and now you can get this design on magnets, notepads, post-its, candles, water bottles, laptop skins, portable mini shopping bags and art prints.
To search for this design look for “The World Is Full of People” in the shop section of their site:
