A real Roman Holiday might be cheaper?

This sculpture is entitled “Roman Holiday.” Let’s start off with the price. This has to be the single most expensive ScooterSwag item we’ve ever posted. This limited edition figurine is $1,980.00. And it’s on sale from $2,200. But this is definitely a pedigreed collectors piece from artist Giuseppe Armani. She measures an impressive 17″ tall and is handmade of porcelain and hand painted in Florence. And she is part of a limited edition run of 3000 pieces and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

A Figurine for the Francophile.

Spirou was created in 1938. A bellman who eventually morphs into a sometime reporter, according to Wikipedia, he is “A honest and brave young man of indeterminate age, he tries to fight injustice around him and help people.” And we also know he likes to race scooters. This figurine measures almost 8″ tall and costs 179 Euros.

Here is an adorable coin bank from the 50s. (Shout out to Becky and Dave – Is that you on the yellow banana?)

I have seen these occasionally come up for auction on eBay. I think they may have been used as a bank promotional item that would be imprinted with your local bank’s address. And if you ask me, that would be way better than a toaster. It measures 4.75″ x 3″ x 2.5″.

Easter Sale! (Sort Of)

My apologies for getting these great finds out after Easter. *cringing shame*
But there is always next year, right? For your post-Easter pleasure we have Snoopy and Woodstock and his weird egg scooter, a preppy scooter riding bunny art print and the Precious Moments bunny-child carefully delivering an egg. Happy (belated) Easter!
