Back in November 2011, the Japanese proved yet again how rad they are by releasing a bunch of Hello Kitty & Tokidoki designed toys in their 7 ELEVEN (!) stores.

These can still be found on eBay for around $10 including shipping.

Some will decry my posting of this toy as it’s not technically a scooter scooter but it’s so weird and wacky I couldn’t resist. Battery operated and made in Japan, these can be found on eBay and usually go for $100 or more depending on condition.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! (Yes, that goes doubly for those of you outside of the States.)

I am about to go in and tackle some asparagus but before I do, I thought I’d post this neat little craft for you in case you have some time on your hands. Besides, unlike some of the other paper models I’ve posted, this one is dead easy! I think you could almost turn it into a greeting card.

This cute little figurine measures 4″L x 3-1/4″W x 3-1/2″H and is called “Scooter Pie.” It’s a hand numbered Marie Osmond limited edition resin doll from her 2002 collection. I really love this book. It’s like a mash-up of Richard Scarry books with some mod sensibility. It’s very witty with something to puzzle over on every page. And yes, a scooter plays a prominent role.
