I ordered a pair of these last week and they arrived on Saturday They are super comfortable and great quality, but the sizing is a little small; I ordered size 3, which was marked as up to 5’3″ (I’m 5’2″), and I could do with a little more room vertically. (TMI: the back flap keeps coming un-Velcroed!)

Hey Chris, Agreed. Not that I ever saw Carnaby Street until 2005. The clothes the girls are wearing are a bit too flower power for the early 60s so late 60s then. I’ve read that most mods had fled the area by then. Thanks for the nostalgia!

I don’t recall Carnaby St looking like this in the early 60′s when shopping at John Stephens original shop! In fact it was a pretty down-at-heel area, with a couple of ‘greasy spoon’ caffs and a hardware shop that had buckets, bins, and brushes hanging from the shopfront! This is a picture of the much later ‘tourist trail’ Carnaby St.
