Faberge-esque Lambretta Egg with Sound Effects?!
Posted by Tracy under Decor , Models, Figurines[6] Comments

It’s all yours for £39.99! I am so intrigued by this bizarre collectible. Here are the amusingly detailed deets from the Bradbury Exchange:
“This fine tribute to the fastest scooter of its time is crafted from Heirloom Porcelain and quadruple fired at over 1,000 degrees to create a lasting finish. For a fine, Faberge-inspired finish, the Lambretta SX200 Platinum Edition Collectable is luxuriously lavished with handpainted platinum accents. Traditional Lambretta colours, logos and SX200 detailing add authentic touches to the exterior, while the model number and production dates of the SX200 recorded on the base. Open the egg to reveal a handcrafted SX200 replica parked on an etched Union Jack – crafted from quality artist’s vinyl, this model is intricately detailed to replicate every detail of the original scooter. What’s more, at the flick of a switch you can hear the authentic sound of SX200′s iconic engine!

I saw an advert for the Lambretta egg in the Take it Easy magazine from the Sunday newspaper on February 21st but have been unable to find one to order on the website and I would like one for my husband’s 60th birthday as he used to have a lambretta scooter when he was young. Could anyone please help.
