Oh this is a big ScooterSwag FAIL. Mea culpa. I always make an effort to go into a Hallmark store before Christmas to see if there are any ornaments featuring scooters. And this past year I didn’t. (Sigh.) So I missed this rather adorable ornament. It doesn’t light up or make noises. But you can still find it for fairly cheap on eBay.
Here’s Santa (and baby reindeer) on a Honda Metropolitan on this big pennant. It measures approximately 40″ x 28″, is double sided polyester and is just $15.97 at Lowe’s.

Spotted on eBay awhile back, this large vintage handmade Santa riding a scooter was probably a Christmas Card holder in someone’s uber cool 60’s era home. A definite idea for you crafters out there.
Hooray! The Christmas Scooter inflatables are here! In fact we’ve only ever featured one inflatable here before at ScooterSwag. They were these scooter riding sock monkeys . But now we have Snoppy and a snowman (and penguin). The photo of the Snoopy was shot at a Lowe’s Home Improvement store but you can also order him for $89 online here .

Herb Lester Associates designs beautiful things like maps of long-gone swinging London, clever little books and this tape. Illustrated by Jim Datz, it’s perfect as packing or wrapping tape for the holidays. But it’s not Christmas-specific so it can be used year-round. (It appears to depict a cowboy visiting London in fact!) It’s 50 mm wide and is £6.50 a roll.
However this ornament will clean out your wallet – it’s $22.95!
But oh how detailed and glitterlicious! I especially like his “Ho Ho Ho” pennant and the fancy headlight!

OMG am I excited about this find! Finally! A scooter yard inflatable! Even better – a scooter yard inflatable with SOCK MONKEYS! And a sidecar! That lights up! Wish I had found this a little earlier in the season. But it’s definitely not too late for the 2012 season. And it’s on sale. I have seen this offered for everything from $80 to $228 on the web but $85 seems to be the going rate.
Here are the details. Dimensions: 2.99″ H x 62.2″ W x 47.24″ D, lights up, weather resistant and includes everything needed for set-up.
