Diggin Skootcase for roamin’ holidays.

Ah bliss! When I first started seeing the adorable ride on toy suitcases at the airport I just knew that it wouldn’t be long before there would be a scooter. It was inevitable.

So here is the “Diggin Skootcase” that comes in blue and pink. It measures 15.8 x 18.5 x 8.1 inches and weighs in at 6.6 pounds. It fits in overhead compartments, can be ridden or carried on a shoulder strap and is so cute it makes my teeth hurt. And although it’s meant for kids, I can predict more than a few scooter girls will want to rock these at out of town rallies. $69 at Amazon with Free Shipping.

Be sure to watch the video of the little boy and girl having a brief romance on their scooter suitcases. Shows all the suitcases’ neat tricks and is just very well done. Almost makes me wish I was wee:

Too cool for school?

Here are 2 coolers that would be great for the office or school.
(I can already see a lot of parents buying these for their kids and then stealing them back.)
The red cooler is $29.95 and the blue cooler is $27.95.

Jonathan Adler loves scooters.

I’ve been a longtime fan of Jonathan Adler for his pervasive love of all things retro and kitsch. But he hadn’t produced a single bit of scootery until just recently. Get ready to empty your wallets folks, because his style ain’t cheap. The Positano needlepoint pillow is $98, the Jet Set Duchess totes are $178 and the Vespa Jute Pouch is $38. Sigh. I need a sugar daddy.

And Doxies have their day.

Imagine my surprise when I realized I had two different Daschsund scooter swags to post. First up is this beautiful necklace, handmade in Ireland and crafted in sterling silver. The front is 3-D and the wheels even spin, but it’s flat on the back so it sits well. It measures approximately 1.25″ wide and comes on an 18″ sterling silver snake chain. It’s €99.99 (Euros).

Next up is the stuffed Roxie the Doxie in her own scooter bag. She measures 7 x 3 x 8 inches and costs $12.99.

Kukuxumusu! (Gesundheit?!!)

Kukuxumusu is a company from Pamplona in Navarra, Spain specializing in clothing and product design. Its name means “flea’s kiss” in Basque.

Currently this nice duffle bag with matching key chain mascot is on sale for $35.99 (originally $48.) Their sheep scooter design is also featured on helmets (69,70 €) and other accessories.

If I’m not mistaken, I think one of the first things these guys designed was an adorable shirt featuring a Pamplona bull on a Vespa chasing after a festival runner. And I would kill to own one. (The shirt. Not the bull.)
