Here’s a Hello Kitty that won’t break the bank. She’s just $9.99. No batteries required. And just look at those pink bow wheel forks! She and her scooter measures 8.7 x 8.3 x 3.9 (in inches)
You can order her on the ToysRUs site.

I remember back in the early 2000s when this European show started airing and I kept looking for toys to write about. But alas, I never did find any. Well at least here’s a game to play. It’s $37 (!) on Amazon .
And here’s a video of the scooter race episode from the show.
Thanks to Daniel S. for this find!
Here’s a toy that may only be available at Target. It’s the Hello Kitty Chasing Rainbows scooter and it’s a simple push toy for their 12″ dolls. No batteries, no friction power, just fun. It measures approximately 8″ tall and almost 15″ long. It even comes with a little purse.
You can find it at Target for $25 .

There’s more than one superhero out there with a fondness for scooters. Beast Boy is NUTSO for “mopeds.” Should we break it to him that his is definitely a scooter?
This figurine was a recent find of Daniel S. in Texas. (Thanks Daniel!) I went through the ScooterSwag archives and found this Beast Boy toy set that we posted back in 2007 .
I was also able to dig up this episode where Beast Boy and friends are captured by the “Mad Mod.” MM was a villain from the 60s brought back to torment the Teen Titans just for this episode. Maybe there are some Mad Mod Scooter toys out there. Enjoy!

We’ve featured a figurine of the character Dead Pool on ScooterSwag before. These however are custom made one-off figurines made by hobbists/artists. Does anyone know if the gas masked fellow is based on any comic book character?

Thanks to Daniel S. in Texas for these finds!
Hooray! The Christmas Scooter inflatables are here! In fact we’ve only ever featured one inflatable here before at ScooterSwag. They were these scooter riding sock monkeys . But now we have Snoppy and a snowman (and penguin). The photo of the Snoopy was shot at a Lowe’s Home Improvement store but you can also order him for $89 online here .
The much larger snowman is available at Bed Bath & Beyond for $120 here .
Thanks to Tom C. for the Snoopy find!
I’d be the first to admit I’ve made fun of the craft site Etsy and loved calling it “Regretsy.” But I gotta give them credit. There is a lot of great stuff on there and it keeps getting better. I’ve even ordered from them. So type in “scooter” or “Vespa” or “Lambretta” and see what comes up for you.
For example for you knitters there’s this downloadable scooter sweater pattern for just $2:
A new series of shorts premiered in June this year on the Disney Channel and one of them is all scooter. It’s called “Croissant de Triomphe” and the heroic scooter makes the most adorable noises I’ve ever heard come out of any bike . . . animated or real.
Let’s hope that there are more French Mickey Mouse shorts and scooter toys are not far behind.
