Spotted this very cute fabric while browsing for something else. The world’s favorite cities and their sites are featured including the Eiffel Tower, the Coliseum, Big Ben, the Sydney Opera House, and the Golden Gate Bridge among others. Also featured are the means for travel like a car, helicopter, plane, bike, and yes a scooter. For scale purposes: The Eiffel Tower is about 2.5″ tall. Made by “Timeless Treasures” a half yard is priced at $10.25. And while you’re on the site, type in “scooter” in the search engine to see all of their other choices.

Show Us Your Scooter Quilts!
Gitta in San Diego shared a photo of a quilt a friend made her after she sent her the link to the scooter quilt pattern we posted here. And her friend did the quilt in the colors of Gitta’s own chariot. I particularly love the button (or button hole?) headlight.

The British are Coming . . . eventually.
Why the proviso? Because this Michael Miller fabric seems to out of stock or on back order on several sites. Still, many will no doubt think it’s worth waiting for. Also, this print is actually denim so there are some fashion possibilities here. Mini skirt anyone? It’s priced at around $8.95 a yard.
