Maple Town Toy Scooter

If you like bunnies on scooters (and who doesn’t?) be on the look out for the “Maple Town Stories” toy sets and in particular Papa Rabbit’s scooter. Airing in Japan and parts of Europe in the late 1980s, Maple Town was an anime series about a small utopian city of rabbits and bears. Below is a link for a playground furniture set and the scooter. A re-telling of the “Tortoise and the Hare”?

Here we have an archival quality print of a watercolor of two rabbits out for a ride on an orange scooter. It’s signed and numbered by the artist and comes unmounted and unframed. It’s a limited edition and will be only one of 50. The image size is 6″ x 5″ (15 x 11.4cm) with the total paper size at 9″ x 7″ (22.5 x 17.5cm). It’s just $20 and I think this would look completely adorable in a kid’s room.
