Pillow fight!

Which one do you like best?

First up we have a natural fiber pillow with a rustic screen print. You can choose from two different fabrics and the also team it up with other vehicle designs. It measures approximately 16″ X 16″ and is £23. Thanks to retrotogo.com for this find.

Choice two is a blue and green French pillow that reverses to a smaller print of the same scooter on the other side. It’s 100% cotton and measures approximately 34 X 24 cm. It costs €30.

A Rare Bit O’Swag:
Vintage Motul Waterslide Decal

I have always loved vintage waterslides. I have a vague recollection of applying them to my bicycle when I was very small. Gosh that dates me! Anyhoo, here is a prime specimen spotted on eBay recently. If you’d like to wallow in a little more vintage goodness (and some rather randy imagery), click below.

Jonathan Adler loves scooters.

I’ve been a longtime fan of Jonathan Adler for his pervasive love of all things retro and kitsch. But he hadn’t produced a single bit of scootery until just recently. Get ready to empty your wallets folks, because his style ain’t cheap. The Positano needlepoint pillow is $98, the Jet Set Duchess totes are $178 and the Vespa Jute Pouch is $38. Sigh. I need a sugar daddy.

Space Scooter

I know what you’re thinking. “That technically isn’t a scooter!” But check out that Vespa cowl!

And for your enjoyment I’m including a postcard from the 2008 Gasoline Rally in Indianapolis with more Space Scooter goodness.

About the art print:
It’s a limited edition giclee by Chris Reccardi. It measures 48 × 24 × 7/8″ and is $400 (not including shipping). It comes signed and is in a numbered edition of only 50.
