However this ornament will clean out your wallet – it’s $22.95!
But oh how detailed and glitterlicious! I especially like his “Ho Ho Ho” pennant and the fancy headlight!
Thanks to Julie G. for this find.

Here’s another Christmas ornament spotted on eBay that looks like it’s made by the same company that made this Space Santa. Will let you all know if I can figure out an online source for these.
Here’s another Santa I spotted on eBay. Sadly I was outbid. And this is one I would quietly kill for. I mean, com’on! This is Space Santa! He’s riding a freakin’ space Heinkel! And he’s packing a ray gun! The good news is that this does not appear to be a vintage ornament.
Hopefully more details to follow soon . . .
And they just keep coming . . .
Here we have an adorable bright pink scooter that looks highly detailed and seems like a substantial size based on the other ornaments it was hanging next to in the photo. $12.00 at Macys.
Thanks to Tammy D. for this great find and the great photos.
Turns out that 2011 has been a bumper crop of scooter Christmas ornaments. Ornament Week was supposed to be last just that long — one week. But they just keep coming. Here’s an adorable sparkler from Pier One Imports. It costs just $5.95 and measures 1.50″W x 5″D x 4″H.
This reminds me a lot of how I used to set up my 1960 Vespa VBA for Christmas. I have a saddle seat and a buddy seat. On the buddy seat I would bungie a little 2.5 foot aluminum Christmas tree. Then on went a string or two of battery-powered LED lights. It took me a couple of years of trial and error to get it all to stay on safely even in winds but it was a glorious sight.
Thanks to both Polianarchy and Phaedra for the photos and find.
Forgot to add the URL in my original post about these gorgeous embroidered ornaments. They’re from Crate & Barrel and they’re on sale now for $9.52 for the pair. (Give the bicycle one to one of your friends ; ) But please hurry because the site says they have “limited quantities.”

Thanks to Denise C. for catching that I had the wrong price on these lovely Lambrettas. They’re only $20.99 USD each.

And last but not least, there IS a difference between these two Fenderlights. The Krebs one (shown at the top) is available in the US and the UK and is painted way better than the ones at Cost Plus. By the way, if you haven’t been to your local Cost Plus to pick up your own, do it now. I had to negotiate with a good friend to get the last unbroken aqua colored one to complete my collection. I was ruthless. (Thanks Tina!) The Krebs one only comes in blue and is priced around $10 USD.
And last but certainly not least, here we have a lovely 2-tone Lambretta that is 4.25″ high and $42.00.
Thanks to Julie G. for this find!
Here’s the first of Radko’s scooter ornaments, which came out in 2002. Boy was this a hard one to find. Five years of eBay saved searches and finally it was mine! We’ve also featured Radko’s second scooter ornament here called “Roamin’ Holiday.”
