We featured this scooter fabric last year and now someone has thankfully gone to the trouble of making it into adorable bedding. But (sigh) it’s not cheap. Prices range from $70.40 (USD) for a cushion to $330 for a Double Quilt Cover or Duvet. And those are sale prices apparently. To see all the sizes available visit this Australian site .

Bumba Clown Puzzle
Not knowing the Dutch language I couldn’t find out much about Bumba other than it seems to be a Belgian children’s show with clay animation characters. But if you Google “Bumba” and “Scooter” there are all kinds of goodies out there.

New Mickey Mouse Short with a Scooter!
A new series of shorts premiered in June this year on the Disney Channel and one of them is all scooter. It’s called “Croissant de Triomphe” and the heroic scooter makes the most adorable noises I’ve ever heard come out of any bike . . . animated or real.
Let’s hope that there are more French Mickey Mouse shorts and scooter toys are not far behind.

Julie spotted this little paper scooter kit in Japantown in San Francisco during their 20th Anniversary Classic scooter rally. It seems pretty hard to find on anything other than a Japanese web site but this online store has the best price. Have no idea how much shipping would be? It measures approximately 15 x 10.5 x 0.3 cm and is made out of hard paste color laser-cut cardboard.

Jones Soda in Vespa Flavor!
Actually the real flavor is Strawberry Lime. In the lower right hand corner the ID tag reads: “Liz Ruetsch; #1331039; Windsor, CA.” I’m assuming that means Windsor, California although the bottle also reads “Product of Canada” near its neck.

Spotted on eBay recently, this statue was made by the UK giftware and collectibles maker “Leonardo.” Dated 2004, it’s labeled “Silver Dreams” and measures approximately 5 3/4″ tall.
